Dr. Akanksha Abhishek is an author, a freelance writer, and a full-time dentist. Hailing from Patna, Bihar, she grew up in a conventional Indian family, and opted for the most expectable career choice, a healthcare worker.
She runs a full-time dental clinic ‘The Tooth Doctors’, in Patna, with her two partners, and that has been a boon to the alternative works that she does. Her debut book, ‘Sweet 16’ got published in 2021 and she’s already completed two other manuscripts that she hopes to publish soon next year.
She tries trying to balance her life amongst books, poetry, and patients, foreseeing becoming a doctor-author-book reviewer in the coming years. She spends her days at the clinic, working a 12-hour shift to be able to sustain her expenses; and spends her nights dwelling in the world of books to live her passion for art.
